The Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain 2017 season is here. In what is already lining up to be the most hotly contested season to date, Porsche Centre Mayfair is delighted to announce that we will once again be sponsoring the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Scholar, Charlie Eastwood.
The season got underway last weekend at Brands Hatch (Indy circuit) with reigning Porsche Carrera Cup GB double champion Dan Cammish sealing a polished pair of wins in the first two rounds. Eastwood opened his season with a solid performance, hot on Dan Cammish’s heels with a brace of second place finishes.
After a strong debut Carrera Cup last season, Charlie Eastwood is now competing as one of the firm favourites to challenge his Redline Racing teammate and 2016 Carrera Cup champion, Dan Cammish. Eastwood’s pace progressed notably over the course of last season, culminating in becoming Rookie champion and sealing a stunning breakthrough win at Brands Hatch. Eastwood has started the 2017 season in the same vein of form as he looks to push Cammish all the way.
In June we will join Porsche Carrera Cup France, GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux and a number of international guest entries at Le Mans. The grid will comprise 61 identical 911 GT3 Cup cars, racing in front of over 250,000 spectators plus the LMP1 and RSR Porsche factory teams.
As in previous years, Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain is an important support race to the BTCC and in 2017 we will be racing at a number of BTCC rounds including Donington, Snetterton and Brands Hatch (Grand Prix circuit). Each circuit will present drivers with different challenges to test nerves and skills to the limit. See below for the confirmed 2017 racing calendar.

*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
