New Porsche products to the range

With the recent media coverage and focus on the first all-electric Porsche, the new Taycan Turbo and Taycan Turbo S, you would be forgiven for not being fully aware of the other fantastic new arrivals to the brand.

We are delighted to highlight new products to the Porsche range including new additions to the 911 family, new plug-in hybrid models for Cayenne and Cayenne Coupé and a new flagship model joining the Macan line-up.

New Cayenne E-Hybrid models

Porsche continues to focus on E-Performance with the introduction of new E-Hybrid models to the Cayenne range, available in both standard Cayenne and new Cayenne Coupé body styles.

The performance led Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid and Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid Coupé boast a staggering output of 680PS and 900Nm, and are capable of 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds. This performance is achieved by a thrilling combination of the formidable 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 working together with a 100kW electric motor in perfect harmony - the ultimate expression of Porsche E-Performance.

This exceptional performance is matched by a high level of efficiency: the Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid and Turbo S E-Hybrid Coupé can drive for up to 19 miles with zero local emissions.

The Cayenne E-Hybrid models are now available to order with a starting price from £68,358.

New 911 Carrera models

Porsche is expanding its iconic eight-generation range with the 911 Carrera and 911 Carrera 4 in both a Coupé and Cabriolet body styles.

The Carrera is the entry-level 911 model and offers 15 PS more power output than its predecessor. Its premium-quality standard features are virtually unchanged from the 911 Carrera S. These features include the high-quality interior with a 10.9-inch touchscreen display, comprehensive connectivity and also innovative assistance systems like the Porsche Wet Mode which ensures even safer handling on wet roads.

The 911 Carrera is also distinguished by smaller dimensioned wheels and brakes and the individual tailpipe covers on the exhaust system.

As with the other models in the range, the engine, chassis and brakes are designed for exclusive sportiness. The 3.0-litre, six-cylinder boxer engine of the 911 Carrera generates power largely through the smaller wheel diameters of the turbines and compressors that feature in the new turbochargers. As for power transmission, this is handled by the new standard 8-speed PDK transmission.

This enables the 911 Carrera Coupé to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 4.2 seconds, with a top speed* of 182 mph. The optional Sport Chrono Package shaves a further 0.2 seconds off the sprint.

The 911 Carrera models are now available to order, starting from £82,793.

New Cayenne S Coupé

The new Cayenne S Coupé is another powerful variant of the renowned five door sports car.

A complementary combination of dynamic styling and a potent powertrain, the Cayenne S Coupé benefits from all the same standard features of Cayenne Coupé variants, including Porsche Active Aerodynamics, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and the Sport Chrono Package.

In terms of appearance, a roof line that drops significantly more steeply towards the rear gives the Cayenne S Coupé a particularly dynamic appearance. This effect is supported by a fixed roof spoiler, which accentuates the distinctive coupé silhouette.

Powered by a 2.9-litre V6 engine featuring twin turbocharging, it develops 440 PS (324 kW) and maximum torque of 550 Nm to guarantee powerful acceleration. The SUV coupé can accelerate from a standing start to 62 mph in 5.0 seconds in combination with the standard Sport Chrono Package. This figure drops to 4.9 seconds with the three optional Lightweight Sports Packages.

The new Cayenne S Coupé joins the Cayenne Coupé with 340 PS (250 kW) and the Cayenne Turbo Coupé with 550 PS (404 kW) in the range.

The Cayenne S Coupé is now available to order, starting from £73,658.

New Macan Turbo

The new Porsche Macan Turbo claims the top spot in the category for sports cars in compact SUV format.

The new 2.9-litre, six-cylinder biturbo engine in this extensively reworked top model offers 440 PS (324 kW), ten per cent more power output than its predecessor with 20 per cent less displacement. With the optional Sport Chrono Package, this car can get from a standing start to 62 mph in 4.3 seconds – three tenths faster than before. The car’s top speed is 167 mph. Deceleration has also been improved: the new Macan Turbo comes with the powerful Porsche Surface Coated Brake (PSCB) fitted ex works, as part of the optimised chassis. Externally, the Macan Turbo is characterised by the styling features of the revised model generation. The new top model also sets itself apart thanks to unique accents such as the Turbo-specific front apron and the fixed roof spoiler with its double-wing design. Drivers and passengers alike benefit from the Macan’s enhanced interior, in-cluding adaptive 18-way sports seats and a BOSE® Surround Sound system.
